What is Off About This Picture?

Any picture with Paolo Maldini (those beautiful eyes) always catches my attention. But upon closer inspection of this example of a Milanese lovefest…something seems off.

Is it…the awkward look on Andrea Pirlo’s face? David Beckham puffing his chest out? Filippo Inzaghi wanting some action? Alexandre Pato desperately needing a shave? Or is it Paolo Maldini’s deer-caught-in-headlights look?

  I figured it out. Pirlo looks like a guy who’s playing a blind guy in a movie. And he’s pretending he’s engaged in some kind of Braille exercise.

  Pirlo: “Ah…yes… I think this is… This is… Wait, I’ve got it! It’s a chest! A taut…muscular…manly, well–waxed chest. With… Ah, yes! Just a tiny bit of nipple protrusion right…here.”

  I’m pretty sure that’s what’s going on.
