Since We Are On The Subject

By: Wanda Touchim | May 11th, 2009

Is it just me or is Dani Alves distinctly less hirsute now than he was after the Chelsea game? Here he is celebrating during Barcalona’s match against Villareal yesterday. Didn’t that game end in a draw?

Someone found time for a little \"me\" time
Dani Alves you just went through to the Champions League Final. What are you going to do now? “I’m getting a body wax!”

Maybe that is how they celebrate going to the Champions League final in Barcelona – Body waxing for everyone!

On closer inspection (hey! it is my duty as a HABs Blogger), he looks a little stubbly. I bet he just shaves. Oh well, maybe they save the waxing as special treat for after they win the Champions League final. Yep, that must be it.

A decidedly less hairy Alves
Oh, and I most certainly hope this second name is that of his wife. Either that, or he scored that goal for… erm… “Little” Dani Alves (if you get my drift).

I noticed the same thing — the only answer, obviously, is that he watches this site religiously, and shaved after reading about his own stubble.

It did end in a draw, but Barca were up 3-1 at one point so he was celebrating believing he had just clinched the La Liga title for Barcelona.

Also, two Alves posts in a row right after an Arshavin/Gunnersaraus and Puyol post?! The quality of ballers here is not that great…… :S

It’s possible that the he shaved only after the champions league semifinal. In America, some members of teams including coaches don’t shave their beards in the playoffs due to some superstitious belief.

I must say, his hip cleavage looked way hotter on tv.

No way! He has his daughter’s name tattooed over his crotch? Eeeew. It sort of makes sense if it is is wife down there – you know, like a “keep out” sign to skanks or something – but not so much for a daughter.
