Stop Press: Canna Took His Shirt Off! Oh, Wait.
By: Lotte Cox | February 11th, 2009Ok, so it’s not exactly news when Fabio Cannavaro gets his kit off, but that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable. And now he’s doing it at halftime — that, my friends, is commitment! (Oddly, Simone Pepe, peering in from the side of the frame, looks much more interested in the torso on display than Ronaldinho is. Maybe that’s because Ronaldinho now plays with Canna’s fellow serial stripper David Beckham, and consequently is hard to impress.)
Also, please take note of the captain’s armband in his shorts. Gotta have both hands free when swapping kits, just in case someone wants a fondle.
Postgame kit-swap with Robinho under the cut.

It never occurred to me to wonder whether or not captains’ armbands get laundered.
Until now.

London is suffering under record snow-fall so you know it has got to be cold at the Emirates yet Cana still finds a way to be photographed with no shirt — I just think it is hysterical.
Not that I mind…
And Laurie, I think they get a new arm-band each match. Good thing, too, cause that one in the picture probably has some serious crotch-funk.

I dunno, Johonna — Sebastien Frey definitely wears the same one every time he’s captain for Fiorentina. God, I hope Canna’s not similarly attached to his. Ew, ew, ew.
