Not That We’re Complaining About Nudity, but What’s With These Boys’ Diaper Undies?

I love Italy. It is a glorious country. Where else in the world do we find that “footy joy” and “spontaneous nudity” are synonymous?

That said, though, I have a question for Antonio Di Natale (and his predecessor John Terry): What the hell is up with these undies that look like diapers? These things look like they were chosen for absorbency, not for sexiness. This simply Will. Not. Do.

Note to Antonio, John et al: They word “tighty” is in “tighty whities” for a reason. Antonio, please take notes from the gentleman behind you, to our left. I believe he’s got it just right.

  That other gentleman would be Gokhan Inler. He gets in right in a lot of ways, on a regular basis. (Oh, and he’s also pretty great at football.)

  That’s Gokhan Inler? Ooh, good to see that the best of Italy can rub off even on the Swiss Turks.

  I’ll bet that all his life he’s been inhibiting his inner nudist. Now, at last, he can let him run free.
