Is He Made of Plastic?

By: Lotte Cox | October 18th, 2008

While he was busy becoming the best Japanese players of all time (at least until Shunsuke Nakamura came along), Hidetoshi Nakata never seemed to find time to eat much. Or, alternately, ate nothing but wheatgrass and protein shakes, thus keeping his bodyfat comfortably below 1%.

Outrageously, based on the recent cover above, things haven’t changed in the slightest in the two years since he retired, which is just a slap in the face to, well, pretty much every retired athlete ever.
