Brazilian NT: Maxin’ and Relaxin’
By: Lotte Cox | March 31st, 2009Brazil’s (and Inter’s) godlike keeper Julio Cesar takes a well-deserved break, joined by the singificantly less deserving Robinho. One assumes Robinho is there just to thank Julio Cesar (over and over and over again) for miraculously grabbing Brazil a point after they were dominated by Ecuador but somehow managed a 1-1 draw.
Take a look at Robinho, by the way. He’s got his keeper, his “R” necklace (so he remembers who he is), and his “JESUS” bracelet (so he remembers who he loves) — everything important in one picture!
Lucio and Felipe Melo eventually turned up to join them, too. Really, I think everyone just wanted to be near their keeper, in the hope that some of the magic would rub off. Lucio is clearly concerned that he’s too far away to get any mojo at all.

Thank God you didn’t post the Ronaldinho pictures. There are some things you REALLY don’t need to see before 9am. *scrubs at eyesockets*

*laughs* Yes, I figured some editing was appropriate. (I also left out the one of Julio Cesar’s big toe, just in case.)

Dont worry, the toe is going up on the Inter page. I cannot think of a single solitary thing about Julio Cesar that I would not want to see first thing in the morning. I have a bit of a thing for him. Well, a huge thing (lets be honest).
I will always regret not stalking JC when Brazil came to town. I thought I was above it… a better person… but I am just so not.
I have to tone it down a bit over on the Inter board, though, cause too much gushing (or beefcake) gets the boys a little twitchy.
I am going down to LA to see the Inter Chelsea game this summer. This time, the stalking is so on. I will not make the same mistake twice!

Look out, Johonna — you know his wife has Google alerts set up for his name, she’s going to be seriously on the alert for you when they land in LA! (I love him, too, but less because I want to have his babies than because he’s superhuman, and hilarious, and looks like an eraser when he wears a turtleneck under his kit.)

Dont get me wrong – my crush is entirely platonic. I dont want to actually have sex with the guy (eew), I just want to shrink him down and carry him around in my pocket or something. 100% tiger-beat school-girl type crush.

LOL Johonna!
I don’t know if any of you read portuguese but Susana (JC’s wife) writes a blog here:
http://bloglog.globo.com/susanawerner/She talks about everything…how she’s missing him and how he’s doing playing for Brazil and Inter and the kids.

Great, now I have a crush on her too! At least I can rest in the knowledge that wonderful JC has a wonderful wife and family. They are just one big bundle of fuzzy cuteness.
