Lorik Cana Hearts Samir Nasri

By: Amanda Leerat | April 30th, 2009

Remember a long time ago, when Samir Nasri was still at Marseille?

And remember when Lorik Cana had long hair, and looked like a really hot caveman who seemed like the type who would go out and club a mate to drag back to the cave?

Somehow in our imaginations it looked a little different.

(But we like this, too.)

OMG, it even looks like the sun is setting as Cana carries Nasri into their future. What I would give to be Samir, except for the hair.

Cana looks like a knight with a princess in his arms. Well, except of clothes.
I wouldn’t like to be Nasri; I’d rather just be in his place.

There really is a cinematic quality about that picture. Like if you pan to the right, you could see whatever fiery wreckage it was that Cana had rescued Nasri from. (And he would be walking away in slow motion, natch.)

Ahh, the good old days of Samir not at Arsenal…
Wouldn’t he have liked to stay that extra season and perhaps win le ligue with OM?

    (And I say, perhaps.)
