Turkish Delight: Volkan Demirel

By: Ivanna Baller | October 23rd, 2008

Fenerbahçe goalkeeper Volkan Demirel had a night to forget when his side conceded five goals to Arsenal last Tuesday in the Champions League. Luckily for us, that didn’t diminish his hotness factor.

Is it just me or does Volkan look like a larger more buff version of Rubén De la Red in the fourth picture?

Man, I love that first picture — I’ve always suspected a tiny part of him was happy to have been sent off, just because it meant he got to strip with everyone watching.

There are A LOT of Armenians in my town, so Turks are generally off-limits, but this one is mighty handsome, looks really strong.
(wow, that sounds incredibly gay, but it’s not meant to. and NO I’m not in denial!)

Wow, in the first picture, those shorts look like they’re just about to come off! Yum, oh yum.

Juliet – you know he was looking for an excuse to full them even further down. Too bad he didn’t, or if he did, it wasn’t caught on camera. :(

I remember that game well – it was broadcast in high-def and by this point, we were all riveted to the screen. Unfortunately, the shorts did not come off.

Something for next time, I guess.
