On Top of the Scoring Charts

After scoring Liverpool’s only goal in yesterday’s match against Marseille, Steven Gerrard is tied with Lionel Messi as top scorer in the UEFA Champions League, with five goals apiece. For a central midfielder, that isn’t bad at all. So far, he’s scored in four of the five CL matches, and in three of those occasions, he alone was responsible for rescuing his team from utter defeat.

Let’s take a moment to appreciate his manly form.
