HABs: The Coaches Edition

By: Lotte Cox | November 15th, 2008

Jose Mourinho has moved on to Inter Milan, found someone taller and more Swedish to replace Lampard, and gotten an unfortunate haircut, yes, but he’s still just as hot as he was when he was in England.

Roy Keane. So sexy you can forgive both the Manchester United and the Sunderland.

Blackburn’s Paul Ince. What is it about ex-United players?

And, finally, Pep Guardiola, Hot As Balls in Barcelona.

We’re just scratching the surface here, and there are many who have been slighted — drop some suggestions in the comments, and we’ll do a Coaches Edition, v2 to make up for the oversights.

I thought that Denis Hamlett from Chicago looked rather sharp in a suit on Thursday night, but alas, the only photos that Google Images will cough up are a slight paunch in a polo shirt.

I was thinking in an MLS direction, too, but could only come up with Juan Carlos Osorio and figured I was alone there. (He’s not got a paunch, though, so there is that!)

I am a big fan of Jogi Löw, NT coach of Germany. He takes men-scarves to a whole new level of sexiness.
Mourinho is still the special one though.

Ooooh, good ideas, Jennifer and Eveline — thanks! Next time we’ll do an international coaches edition and get those two in, for sure.

You know, I was going to say Bilic but for the life of me, I could not find a decent picture. In my mind he was hot – at least that is what I remembered, but then all the pictures were crap. He used to have earrings and everything, didn’t he?

And Mourinho’s hair has grown some – it is not quite so severe now.

I’ve got a bunch of good ones of Bilic from the Euros, Johonna, I swear he’s still hot. Maybe he should get his own post, actually …

Also, if you want to stretch it to beach soccer, I think Eric Cantona is Mr. Joga Bonito himself.

Definitely Bilic. And Bierhoff ain’t too bad, either (he’s only the team manager, but close enuff). Actually, come to think of it, Klinsmann has some adorable looks, and it in great shape.
