Everyone’s Favorite Rosy-Cheeked Russian

Sometimes, the best way to deal with the unending rumors about Andrei Arshavin’s attitude, and questions about where he’s going to be playing next season, is to stop reading the articles and just look at pictures of him instead. I think you’ll find it makes everything better, at least for a while.

“Making plans to ogle me? Right on.”

Go ahead — try to resist. I dare you.

“What’s that?”

“Oh, I’m sorry — did I just own your whole team? My bad.”

I was going to say the best things about him were his pink cheeks, but his arms beg to differ.

And, to close, a clinging kit.

  Arshavin is definitely a cutie! I love how hot-tempered he is. Gives him a little bit of an edge.
  You should take a look at Diniyar Bilyaletdinov if you’re looking for hot Russian players.

  The problem with Russian guys? They start out looking like Arshavin and Bilyaletdinov, but end up looking like Boris Yeltsin.

  Me too, Eveline! I’m glad I don’t have to deal with him, but he sure is fun to watch. But Bilyaletdinov? Really? All his features are mushed into the middle of his face — it’s sorta freaky.

  And, Laurie, is the implication in that link that HABs readers don’t know who Boris Yeltsin is? I think I’m offended. (And I’ll see your Yeltsin and raise you a Putin — not all of them age horribly!)

  @ Lotte: Mushed into the middle of his face? LOL didn’t hear that one before! I can understand he’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I find him incredibly sexy, especially his eyebrows. Those just scream seduction!
